This error occurrs when there are two or more URLs of a single blog post. In fact, the original URL of your blog post may inlcude the some additional words like “?m=1” at the end.

This URL format is used for the blog posts of your websites in the mobile view. In order to solve this error, you must follow the steps given below.

1. Use An Error Free Theme

Always use a good theme that is error free and fast loading. I have also seen some blogger themes in which the URL of mobile version does not contain additional words (?m=1) in the end. Such blogger themes do not cause alternative page with proper cononical tag error in Google Search Console. The best example of such error-less blogger theme is “Jet theme” newspaper”.

2. Remove “?m=1” From the URLs Of Current Theme

If you are not interested to change the theme of your blogger website, the second option is to remove the “?m=1” from the end of the current URLs from your website. This can be achieved by inserting a specific HTML script before the </head> tag of your theme’s body in blogger website. In order to do so, simply download and copy our script from the txt file given below.

Download The Script

Then open the “Edit HTML” section of your blogger theme, find out the </head> tag, and paste the script before/upper side of this tag. Now click on “Save” button to save the theme settings and check your website’s URL in mobile.

You will see that the “?m=1” has been disappeared from your website’s new URL. That’s all.

It should be noted that the second option does not work with every blogger theme.

Though, both the above given options are good, the first option of changing blogger theme is more recommended.
